It's more pistachio really

I actually finished this a while ago (it only took a total of about 6 hours to do everything), it just took me forever to get the pictures. More detailed shots are under the cut.

Hand-beaded chain:

The cardigan is from Modcloth and the necklace is from Target.

This was on sale at UO. Obviously the bow is made from extra fabric :P

I have dark polka dot tights and mary janes with little bows to go with it, and an assortment of jewelry that I'm still deciding between.

  1. SOOO CUTE.
    I love the color.
Man, though, you are efficient. A normal skirt I can pull off in 6 hours, but all that gathering...all that gathering! Do you have the lining as 3 separate tiers too? I just don't know how that's possible in 6 hours~! I'm in awe..

  2. Each tier is double over and ironed so I never had to hem anything. Each row of gather took about an hour total, maybe less. I can gather really fast :P The chain only took about half an hour to make as well.

  3. Oh, that explains why I couldn't see any hems! :D
    That does help :)

  6. Dammit I work at Target and I didn't find out about that necklace until after it sold out! That being said, I still got some really cute lolita-esque jewelry (the same collection as that one). Also, your sewing is amazing and it makes me jealous!

  12. Hi! I happened to come across your blog, and I am in LOVE with the spacegirl costumes you made for yourself and your roommate! By any chance would you be willing to take commissions for a similar dress?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, I didn't know where else to contact you. If you're interested, please e-mail me at minako.akita2010@yahoo.com! Thank you!
