For the record, I'm not even that into Harry Potter, but this place ruled. We'll start with a few shots of Hogsmead (if I get the names wrong I apologize) and the shops:

Honeydukes

Zonko's which had a 'Puking Pastilles' in the front which moved and was impossible to photograph

Gladrags, which you couldn't go into but the stuff in the windows moved around (including a tape measure cat)

So much detail even went into the gift shops:

The town at night was even more magical:

We spent a while just looking into shop (real and fake) windows and watching things move and work.

And we watched a little performance by characters from the other schools.

And finally the ride itself. Even waiting in line is pretty awesome because you're basically going through the school :D

The portraits move and talk :D

It's impossible to really capture the inside well because there's so much going on...

I couldn't get anything good of Dumbledore in his office giving a speech, but here is the 'Defense Against the Dark Arts' classroom, where Harry, Ron, and Hermione show up to tell you what's going on...

And make it snow!

The fat lady who we got stuck by a little too long, but still the line was moving

The sorting hat

As you get on the ride you're in a hall of mirrors with dozens of candles suspended over your head, which I could not adequately capture.

Basically it was all completely awesome

WOW! Extremely Kewl! Hope to make it there in the Spring!
ReplyDeleteThat looks SO cool! I want to go there so bad :)
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool. I hope to go to US in June and visit the Universal Studios.
ReplyDeleteBTW it's funny that Hogsmeade has snow on the roofs and windows but everyone is running around in t-shirts xD
Thanks you guys, it was a lot of fun and I already want to go back :D And yeah it was crazy hot but there was fake snow and Christmas decorations everywhere, it was sort of hilarious.
ReplyDeleteOH MAN!!! I NEED TO GO THERE NOW!
ReplyDeleteLike right NOW!
It just looks so amazing! I'm glad you had fun! ^_^
