Alice print skirt

Finally finished my alice print skirt. With the help of my pal La I cleaned up the design and got the fabric printed in time for AWA. Sadly the material's a little too thick (way too thick for a dress), so I just made a simple skirt and practiced stitching and pleating and I'll probably get the fabric reprinted -maybe with the deign larger and in another color scheme. In the meantime it goes very well with my new blouse:

  1. This print is so gorgeous! I love the simplicity of the color scheme, but the details in the design! The pleats on the skirt look very cute too!

  2. Ahhh! I love this print and skirt so much! It looks even MORE amazing in person. I especially love the alternate color scheme. Please tell me when you order the fabric. *wink wink*

  3. Betty - I'm probably going to order some muted pink with lighter linework to match next month, what color scheme were you thinking?

    1. I may consider selling some of this fabric eventually but I'm not sure it would work on a black background too well.

  6. If, in the future, you decide to sell this fabric, where might I find it? I'm really interested in the pale blue/green in these photos, it's stunning.

    1. I have an etsy shop set up just in case I decide to sell any of this, though I probably would sell it in an actual light blue (and probably pink) rather than this teal since it's more Alice-y and it'll coordinate with more things. If I start selling it I'll definitely post about it and reply to everyone in this post to let them know.
