Oh man, I finally made a real blouse this week. It took about 8 hours including drafting, and I really love how it turned out. The tailoring is immaculate and it's made out of a nice stretch poplin so it's pretty comfy. This will go well with lolita skirts or my professional/church wardrobe, so I love it for that as well :D

It's not actually see through though, and is actually a nice antique white.
Very elegant. I really like the boatneck-ish of the collar. Looks like it will go very well with the polkadot skirt.
ReplyDeleteThanks, though I'm actually working on a custom print skirt atm so it'll probably end up with that instead :P

It's absolutely perfect! It's as if you'd chosen all my favorite details in blouses and mixed them all in one. :P
ReplyDeleteDid you use any pattern?
I actually tried to find a pattern to make my life a little easier, but couldn't find what I wanted so I just kind of make it up on the fly. It zips up the side though rather than buttoning down the front so that made it a lot easier.
